Count Dooku Lands in Star Wars Battlefront II Tomorrow

EA and DICE have reconfirmed that Count Dooku finally arrives in Star Wars Battlefront II on January 23.

The celebrated fallen Jedi and Sith Lord brings his expert dueling skills to the battlefront. Count Dooku was a formidable duelist during the Clone Wars, and soon players can utilize that power in Star Wars Battlefront II. Once live tomorrow, players need at least 35,000 Credits to unlock him. After that, he’s all yours forever.

Count Dooku’s mastery of the lightsaber allows him to deflect opposing lightsabers with great efficiency. He comes equipped with a wider blocking range and less stamina depletion. While he is a great duelist, he isn’t so great at deflecting blaster shots.

Dooku comes packed with three unique abilities; Lightning Stun, Expose Weakness, and Duelist. Lightning Stun throws enemies within range to the ground and exposing them to follow-up attacks. Expose Weakness slows a target’s movement and increases the amount of damage taken from Dooku. If Dooku eliminates the target, the ability immediately recharges. Finally, Duelist alters Dooku’s attack sequences by having him perform quick slashes with a high damage output.

At launch, Dooku comes dressed in his Sith Lord costume from the films. On January 30, players can unlock his Dark Ritual appearance from The Clone Wars. Finally, a yet to be announced appearance launches in February. Unfortunately, EA and DICE have yet to release any images or video of Dooku in-game. As such, we’re unable to say how accurate he looks compared to his film counterpart.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Another hero, Anakin Skywalker, is set to hit the game in February.
