Resident Evil 2 Now Available as Capcom Releases Launch Trailer

The much anticipated release of the remake of Resident Evil 2 is here. The  game is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Capcom has released the launch trailer for the game to coincide with its release. You can also read our review of Resident Evil 2 here. The original version launched in January 1998 as was way ahead of its time. This time around, you get an over-the-shoulder perspective running on Capcom’s RE engine that puts Resident Evil 2 as one of the best looking games ever. Fans can expect expansion on existing locations from the original, new aspects such as managing exits with wooden barricades, and a ton of replayability. The Standard Edition retails for $59.99, the Deluxe Edition ($69.99) includes the full game plus the downloadable Extra DLC pack, which includes five character costumes (two for Leon and three for Claire), the Albert Model: Samurai Edge weapon, and the retro soundtrack that can be enabled during gameplay. Physical copies of the Deluxe Edition will also include a reversible box cover featuring Claire. Lastly, the Collector’s Edition retails for $199.99 and is highlighted by the statue of Leon and the item crate amongst other items. You can check out the launch trailer below.
