Respawn Look to be Readying Reveal of New Game

Over the past few days, rumors had been circulating online that Remedy Entertainment were prepping the reveal of some kind. More specifically, an iteration on the still-popular Battle Royale craze at present that, more importantly, would be set within the Titanfall universe. Well it looks like the internet mumblings turned out to be true with Respawn looking to unveil their latest project, Apex Legends during a livestream which will air later today. It’s important to note that not only is this separate from Respawn’s other on-going Star Wars game, Jedi Fallen Order, but this looks to certainly not be Titanfall 3, but rather a spin-off of sorts.

Though the stream is technically live already, all we’ve got thus far is a static shot of some nice-looking vegetation followed by what appears to be a still of part of the in-game map, with some glitched footage inter-spliced seemingly at random. As we speak, the stream is still playing what looks to be footage of some sort of Apex’s player classes and gameplay, but needless to say we won’t have long to wait to see what Apex Legends is all about with Respawn looking to reveal the project today at 12pm PST — just over three hours away. We’ll report back on what we find and what Apex Legends is all about. You can catch the livestream of Apex Legends right here.
