Outrider, Supply Drops Return in Latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Operation

Treyarch today announced Operation Ground Heist for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which brings back a fan-favorite Specialist from Black Ops III and the much loathed Supply Drops.

Operation Absolute Zero is over, which means it’s time for the next event. Operation Grand Heist hits PS4 tomorrow, February 19 and brings plenty of new content to the game. It’ll launch on Xbox One and PC February 26.

Operation Grand Heist welcomes Black Ops III’s Outrider back into the action. Her Sparrow bow returns with deadly accuracy and explosive-tipped arrows that detonate upon impact. Her special issue equipment is the Hawk, a drone that automatically tags enemies. Complete Tier 1 of the new Operation to unlock Outrider forever.

Grand Heist also adds in a handful of new weapons, which you’ll need to unlock via the Operation Stream. These are the Switchblade X9 SMG, Rampage shotgun, and Cha-Ching melee weapon. Expect to see more weapons added to the stream during the operation.

For Blackout fans, prepare yourself to drop into Ghost Town, a western-themed location inspired by the multiplayer map Outlaw and Zombies map Buried. Players can also drive around the Blackout map in style with new SUVs, muscle cars, and PBR vehicles.

What fans won’t be happy about are the Black Market changes, which feature the return of Blackjack and Supply Drops. Now called Cases, they essentially serve the same purpose. Like Supply Drops, Cases can be earned through play or through purchase.
