After a lengthy sabbatical from video games, Travis Touchdown recently graced the hybrid Switch screen in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. The first DLC content is available today called Black Dandelion, and will set interested players back four bucks from the Nintendo eShop. This DLC introduces a new playable character, No More Heroes fan favorite Shinobu. Like Travis and Badman, Shinobu levels up independently from other playable characters and has some unique special moves, giving players a new way to tackle Travis’s Death Drive MK-II video game library once again.
In addition to the new character there is also a new text adventure called Badman Strikes Again. As one would guess, this text adventure focuses on Badman. There is room to speculate on this, such as wondering how this adventure will tie in the second DLC expansion coming in March and does this story tie into the new intro movie that was released with the Day 7 patch. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is a welcome return of Travis Touchdown, and this expansion expands the bizarre world Suda51 brought us. And if this isn’t reason enough to be intrigued by Travis Stikes Again, the update patch released today will bring legendary T-Shirts featuring Hotline Miami 2, Deadly Premonition, The Outfoxies, Jet Set Radio, I?sami Kodaka and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link to Travis’s wardrobe.
