50 Million Players Have Now Tried Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment today confirmed that over 50 million players have tried Apex Legends.

The free-to-play battle royale game has captured the hearts and minds of 50 million players around the globe. Stealth launched in February, Apex Legends has gone on to crush expectations. Taking to Twitter, head of Respawn Vince Zampella confirmed the impressive news.

Of course, this doesn’t mean 50 million people are currently playing Apex Legends. We currently don’t know how many of these 50 million stick around to continuously play. Still, there’s no denying that attracting this many players in just a month after launch is very impressive.

In addition to Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment has other projects in the works. The studio is currently working on the action-adventure title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Zampella also confirmed that the team is working on something Titanfall related for later this year. In addition, they intend on rolling out additional content for Apex Legends.
