Battlefield V’s Battle Royale Mode Launches March 25

EA and DICE today announced the release date for Battlefield V’s battle royale mode, Firestorm.

Battlefield V launched back in November missing two promised modes. We got the co-op mode, Combined Arms, in February. At the end of March, we receive the battle royale mode, Firestorm.

Firestorm follows the blueprint of other battle royale games. A large group of players find themselves on large a map with no items or weaponry. They then must scavenge and take each other out as a ring slowly closes in around them. Firestorm does stand out thanks to a handful of unique ideas. The ring is made of fire, burning anything it touches. Firestorm also incorporates some of Battlefield’s features, including vehicular warfare and destruction.

Firestorm launches free for all owners of Battlefield V on March 25. Battlefield V is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
