Devil May Cry 5’s Bloody Palace Arrives First Day of April

Capcom have confirmed that Devil May Cry 5’s free update, which adds the much-beloved, fan-favorite Bloody Palace mode, will hit all platforms on April 1 — insert your own quip about April Fool’s here if you’d like. Bloody Palace, which debuted in Devil May Cry 2, tasks players in taking on a set number of “floors” complete with pre-determined numbers of demonic foes that, naturally, get more difficult the further one progresses.

While it was absent in the original release of Devil May Cry 3 — returning for the entry’s Special Edition — it made a return in Devil May Cry 4, with the mode also featuring as a free DLC add-on in DmC: Devil May Cry. Not that the game is in desperate need of fan-favorite content at present, with Devil May Cry 5 largely praised by fans and critics alike, but it’s sure to be a nice little cherry on top of the cake that is Capcom’s latest success.
