Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Sixth Goku With Kid Goku From Dragon Ball GT

There have been some complaints floating around that there are too many Gokus clogging-up Dragon Ball Fighter Z’s roster. True, there’s a total of five different Gokus to play as if one counts each of his forms and Goku Black. Still, can one really have too many Gokus in their game? Apparently not, because Arc System Works has announced that Dragon Ball GT’s Kid Goku will be joining the roster as part of FighterZ Pass 2. That means players will have a total of six Gokus to choose from depending on how one counts them.

As mentioned above, Kid Goku will be fighting with his own set of signature moves, so he’ll at least feel fairly different from his older iterations. As for the final secret move Bandai Namcom mentions in their tweet, there’s a good possibility that it’s Kid Goku’s “Dragon Fist” attack from Dragon Ball GT. It’s the move he used to defeat Super Android 17 and Eis Shenron in the show, so it would make sense for it to appear in the game. Alternatively, it could be the “Penetrate” move he used the original Dragon Ball show against King Piccolo. He’s already got the Reverse Kamehameha, so it wouldn’t be to much of a stretch to add it.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review for a more in-depth perspective on it.
