Yakuza Kiwami 2 Coming to PC Next Month

Following speculation that the second remake in the series would follow its predecessor onto the platform, Sega have today confirmed that Yakuza Kiwami 2 will indeed be coming to PC. Released last August for PS4, the game will be available on the PC platform starting May 9. The port comes with the ability to support 4K resolution, unlocked frame-rates and a slew of other graphics/video settings. It will be the third Yakuza title to do so, following the PC release of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami.

Much like its brethren — both in and outside the Kiwami subset of releases — Kiwami 2 was met with critical acclaim upon its original release, making it a suitable game for anyone either still having never invested in the series, or just uncertain on whether the remake would do the 2008 release justice. You can catch a brief glimpse of Kiwami 2’s PC port in the trailer below.
