E3 2019: Kickstarter-Backed Hamsterdam Gets a Release Date

During the Kinda Funny Showcase at E3 today, Muse Games announced a release date for the upcoming Hamsterdam.

The kung fu-inspired beat ’em up is slated to launch on August 1 for Nintendo Switch, PC and iOS and Android devices.

Hamsterdam has players taking control of Pimm, who uses the power of an ancient hamster martial art form, Hamster-Fu, on his quest to rescue Grandpa and put a stop to the Vermin Gang.

The New York-based developer brought its hamster brawler to Kickstarter in 2018 and successfully raised $15,725 thanks to the help of its 699 backers.
