Aspyr and Lucasfilm have announced that another two classic Star Wars games are coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The Star Wars Jedi Knight series is beloved among the Star Wars fandom thanks to the protagonist, Kyle Katarn, and the slick lightsaber gameplay. Though the story is no longer canon, the games remain a blast to play on PC. Soon, players on PS4 and Nintendo Switch can relive these classics.
Developer Aspyr is bringing back Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, the third and fourth entries in the Jedi Knight series. In addition to the campaign, the celebrated online mode returns as well. As for the Switch version, the games feature Gyro Aiming support. No word yet on what PS4 owners can expect, but it’s likely that this version will support higher resolutions and improved visuals, especially on PS4 Pro.
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is out September 24 on PS4 and Switch. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy launches early 2020 on both platforms. Both games are already available on PC.
