Check out the Opening Movie for Persona 5: The Royal

Persona 5: The Royal is still many months away for fans living outside of Japan, but that doesn’t mean it’s impending release isn’t still exciting. After all, one doesn’t have to understand Japanese in order to enjoy the stylish media Atlus has been releasing in anticipation of the game’s domestic launch, and this new opening movie is no exception.

Once Persona 5: The Royal does finally launch everywhere else in the world, fans will have plenty of new content to sink their teeth into. Not only is another Shujin student, Kasumi Yoshizawa, joining the Phantom Thieves, but they’ll also have new areas to explore, new activities to try and new Personas to fight with. Persona 5: The Royal is basically the director’s cut of Persona 5, and it’s looking just as fantastic as one would expect.

Persona 5: The Royal launches for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 31. For everyone else, the game will be out sometime in 2020. Those unfamiliar with Persona 5 should check out our review and learn exactly why so many fans are psyched for this.
