Nuclear-Powered Horror Game Chernobylite Hits Early Access in October

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, a huge showcase of its gameplay, and praise from several events such as Gamescom, developers The Farm 51 have been generating a ton of positive buzz for their upcoming survival horror game, Chernobylite. It’s certainly an ambitious entry into the genre, to say the least, with a non-linear story, a version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone set to be as accurate as possible, and multiple stalkers to team up with or fight. And now it’s revealed that next month, we’ll have the chance to see how all of this ambition is coming along when Chernobylite enters Early Access.

For those of you wondering exactly what will be in this initial version, the team has prepared a trailer to showcase just that. As seen below, the game will start out with a few story-driven locations, as well as some larger ones to explore. We also get a chunk of story missions to work with, and several replayable ones. And of course, we get to see several gameplay elements like companions to recruit, crafting, weather systems, random events, and more. Oh, and hideous, nightmarish monsters to encounter, can’t forget those. Chernobylite is due out in the latter half of 2020, but hits Early Access for PCs on October 17, giving everyone more time to enjoy and help fine-tune this rdiation-filled adventure
