Microsoft Studios Sale Hits Humble Store

The Humble Store has a huge deal on a ton of Microsoft Studios games available on PC. This sale covers a wide variety of genres and is particularly impressive for anyone wanting a slew of family-friendly content for kids. For younger players, Super Lucky’s Tale is a great platforming choice. It isn’t a spectacular game, but it plays fine and looks gorgeous on PC. The Disneyland Adventures game is a Kinect-less version of a 360 game and was a fun little tour of the park with some gaming thrown in. Rush is great for variety as you can explore worlds with racing, platforming, and even some underwater fun. It’s probably the best buffet-style game for a family as there’s something for everyone.

Those craving a twin-stick shooter will have a lot of fun with Halo: Spartan Assault. It’s a visually darker variant on that genre and was a welcome change of pace for the long-running FPS series. Quantum Break is a fantastic time-bending third-person game with a blend of action and a lot of puzzles to solve. Recore is a top-shelf blend of third-person Mega Man-style shooting with a healthy dose of Metroidvania. This is a great sale, and Halo Spartan Assault thing is a must-buy for anyone who loves twin-stick shooters, while Rush is a good pickup for anyone just craving a bit off everything. Quantum Break is probably the best overall game here, while those seeking quick action should go with Recore.
