Google Play Pass Launches as Android Counterpoint to Apple Arcade

Apple Arcade launched last week and offers up a lot of gaming across TV and mobile devices for those deep into iOS. Android users were left a bit out in the cold when it came to something similar for their devices – until now. Google has launched Play Pass for the same pricing as Apple Arcade – $4.99 per month. When it comes to gaming, Game Pass gets you Terraria, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Stardew Valley, This is the Police, Evoland, LIMBO, Bridge Constructor Portal, Risk, Wayward Souls, Tiny Guardians, and Thimbleweed Park just to name a few. If you have a family account, you can share access to Play Pass with up to 5 users.  Beyond games, you can also get access to apps. Right now, Play Pass is only available in the US and it’s on phones, tablets, and anything running Play Store version 16.6.5 alongside Android version 4.4. This is a pretty solid value overall and definitely worth checking out if you enjoy a lot of mobile gaming.
