New WWE 2K20 Trailer Gives Players a Glimpse of The Fiend

WWE 2K20 is mere weeks away and 2K is hyping the game up with the first glimpse of “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt ahead of his Hell in a Cell title match this coming Sunday alongside a slew of other roster members. The Fiend’s entrance is shown alongside a bit of the supernatural Bump in the Night content. There is also a brief clip of what looks like a brighter-themed area with female roster members alongside a creepier world with a zombified version of Ember Moon. The 2K Originals side of things definitely looks more fun to spend time with than the usual 2K Showcase mode has been, although that will be back with the Evolution of the female roster.

On the legend side of things, we can see that Jerry Lawler, Hulk Hogan, and X-Pac are in alongside Chyna for DX. Hogan and Lawler make their first in-game appearances in a while and with Lawler, he hasn’t been featured in the games nearly as much as he really should be given that he’s an all-time great and his in-ring style translates perfectly to gaming. Hogan makes his first in-game appearance since WWE 2K15 and at a minimum, we’re getting the 2002-era Hulk Still Rules version of him, and it should be fun to play as the Hulkster in a game once again. There wasn’t much gameplay shown off, but what was looked about the same as before – only with the Originals side of things really offering up something new and exciting.

WWE 2K20 will be released on October 22 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Deluxe Edition owners can play the game three days earlier on October 19 and anyone who pre-orders will get a code for the first 2K Originals pack featuring “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. The timing on that gimmick being put in is tremendous since it’s new, it’s a super-hot act in the industry and there’s no waiting a year for it to be in the game just due to timing issues. We’ll be covering 2K20 extensively over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled to see that content as it rolls out.
